The history of IMMUNOCTEM® anti-dust mite bedding protections

2003 : In search of an anti-dust mite mattress cover, we found that the majority of bedding covers were treated with acaricide. As for the so-called medical-grade covers, few have been the subject of real effectiveness studies, and the comfort often leaves something to be desired; Hence the idea of creating an anti-dust mite cover Without acaricide chemical treatment that is comfortable and whose effectiveness is validated in an allergy laboratory. Concerned about impeccable manufacturing quality and the development of French industry, the project is launched in partnership with French manufacturers and laboratories.

August 2005 : after two years of research and development, design of the IMMUNOCTEM® anti-mite fabric without acaricide chemical treatment (exclusive IMMUNOCTEM® technology, woven and ennobled fabric in the Vosges, cover made in northern France), and creation of the French company IMMUNOCTEM®.

December 2006 : publication in the Revue Française d'Allergologie et d'Immunologie Clinique of the study carried out at the Immuno-Allergology Laboratory of the Tenon Hospital (AP-HP), Paris, by Professor Leynadier's team on the filtration efficiency of the IMMUNOCTEM® fabric against dust mite allergens. This publication marks a very strong recognition for IMMUNOCTEM®, as it is the reference journal for allergists.

2006 : OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 label for IMMUNOCTEM® covers by the IFTH (French Institute of Textile and Clothing – Lyon) certifying the safety of all IMMUNOCTEM® covers.

2007 : IMMUNOCTEM® joins the NOVEKA Medical Technologies Cluster. The Medical Technologies Cluster "NOVEKA" is an association under the French law of 1901 unique in France that has been bringing together engineering researchers, entrepreneurs and health professionals for more than 20 years to develop the technological innovation of tomorrow's medical devices.

March 2007 : First TV appearance of IMMUNOCTEM® on France 5 in the Magazine de la santé

2008 : IMMUNOCTEM® covers obtain the Recommended label by the French Association for the Prevention of Allergies (AFPRAL). Very strong recognition for IMMUNOCTEM® because AFPRAL is the reference association for parents of allergic children. The "recommended by APFPRAL" label was renamed in 2021, to become "Distinguished by APFPRAL".

2010 : after two years of development and multiple prototypes, launch of the IMMUNOCTEM® mattress which, as its name suggests, combines comfort and IMMUNOCTEM® anti-dust mite protection Without acaricide chemical treatment. Mattress fully labeled OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, CQ 852/1 by the French Institute of Textile and Clothing. It is also the first and only mattress Recommended by AFPRAL (French Association for the Prevention of Allergies).

2010 : Membership of Eco-TLC, the textile eco-organisation. Approved in 2009 by the public authorities, Eco TLC is the result of a multi-stakeholder project to set up an innovative and sustainable model, a driver of activity and economic, social and environmental performance.

2013 : Membership of Eco-Mobilier, the eco-organisation for the furniture industry. Éco-mobilier is an eco-organisation created in December 2011 for the collection and recycling of used furniture. This sector has been financed by the implementation of the eco-contribution for the purchase of new furniture since 1 May 2013.

2015 : Logistical optimization – Any order for IMMUNOCTEM® covers made on the internet (paid by credit card before midnight) is shipped the next morning (except weekends), all year round without interruption.

August 2015 : IMMUNOCTEM® celebrates its 10th anniversary of French manufacturing!

February 2016 : Our constantly growing volume of activity allows us to offer the delivery of IMMUNOCTEM® covers to a RELAY POINT to a local retailer.

March 2018 : Launch of the new version of the website.

2020 : Setting up International Express Delivery with DHL

2022: In order to reduce delivery times, any order of IMMUNOCTEM® anti-dust mite cover placed before 10 a.m. is shipped the same day (excluding weekends).

2024: Launch of the new generation of IMMUNOCTEM® anti-dust mite mattresses.
