WHAT DOES THE LABEL "DISTINGUISHED BY THE FRENCH ASSOCIATION FOR THE PREVENTION OF ALLERGIES" MEAN?
A non-profit association under the Law of 1901, AFPRAL is made up of volunteers spread over 10 regional branches. Its activities aim to better inform the general public about allergies and the means of preventing them, to have allergy recognized by public authorities and manufacturers as a global disease, in order to better take into account the daily constraints of an allergy sufferer.
Supported by a prestigious Scientific Council, AFPRAL acts in constant collaboration with the Foundation for the Prevention of Allergies (Brussels). AFPRAL is a member of the E. F.A. "European Fundation of Allergy and Airways Disease Patients Association".
While many manufacturers have looked into the scourge of allergy and have put their Research and Development team to work to find solutions.

So how can we separate the wheat from the chaff? Choosing between products that are genuinely good for most allergy sufferers and those that only offer marketing hype is a real headache for allergy sufferers and their families.
AFPRAL has therefore decided to implement a labeling procedure for certain products developed and manufactured according to an "allergy prevention" approach.

The "Distinguished by AFPRAL" label can be affixed to manufacturers who have successfully passed the various tests required by the Association, thus offering a guarantee to people suffering from allergies. IMMUNOCTEM has chosen to participate in this process.
IMMUNOCTEM anti-mite covers have successfully passed the various stages of the labeling process, and IMMUNOCTEM is pleased to announce that IMMUNOCTEM anti-mite covers have thus obtained the "Recommended by AFPRAL" label since April 2007. IMMUNOCTEM anti-mite mattresses have been recommended since 2010.
AFPRAL thus allows allergy sufferers to find their way through the maze of "commercial" offers – "Excerpt from the AFPRAL Press Kit – Finally, a label that distinguishes products truly suitable for allergy sufferers"
